06 F150 Crew Cab Flareside. Had issues with clear coat peeling on my front emblems (i live in fl, gotta love salt air) so i was going to strip them down and re-paint. I had some industrial paint stripper at our shop and got tired of sanding. The stripper took it straight down to the aluminum base but be careful not to get it on the plastic back, it tends to eat it up. After about 10 minutes of actual work and cleaning off the stripper I had a clean aluminum base. Rather than paint I pulled out the Buffing Wheels and some aluminum wheel polish and voila i now have chrome emblems for 6 bucks. Gotta love it. I will post pics soon
