Checking transmission fluid
Ok so I got a rebuilt transmission put in my truck about 10k miles ago. And yesterday after I drove it I checked the transmission fluid in park idling. And the fluid only went up to the cold mark. Is it low? Should there be more fluid? Idk I hate messing with automatic transmissions I have the worst luck with them

transmission must be hot and parked level. takes a good 20-30mins driving to get em hot.

the cold zone is for service. (like a garage will use it) Its just not as accurate.
prob. why yours is low, they filled it to the cold mark, and its not perfect.
I service all vehicles to a cold mark and tell customers if they want to come back after driving a while and i will recheck it for them, but im a nice guy
