Default Check Gauges and Yellow Wrench ???

Hi All. I have a 2005 5.4l 4x4 FX4. And I was messing with trailer wiring and pulled a fuse to make sure it was not tripped. Now I get the signal "check gauges" and the "yellow wrench" and the truck wont start. It ran perfectly fine b4. Now nothing. The coolant temp gauge and oil presure gauge do not respond to the ignition in the on position, other gauges do. Also the odometer now reads -------------- I know its something simple. I have the connections to battery off now hoping it will reset. any ideas gladly accepted. thanks in advance.

In looking at your owners manual, what fuse did you pull?

You might want to disconnect the negative battery cable, wait a few minutes, then reconnect. Try to start then. If it does not start, let us know what fuse you pulled (fuse number).

Or, you are in "limp home" mode, and/or have a code stored.

When I was assembling my K&N CAI, I did not have the MAF sensor wire harness plugged in very good, and when I went for the test drive, it came off. Needless to say, the truck had no exceleration, and this yellow wrench came on. I pulled over, found the unplugged MAF lead, plugged it in, and the truck ran fine. It took a couple of seconds for the yellow wrench to go out.

it's looking like a bad fuse box. got the truck to start by wiggling wires to it. got alarms on the dash from the pcm not being powered up.
