Default Check gauges upon starting motor

Hello, I was just wondering if anyone knows what the check gauges message means on the little indicator where the milage is. It's an 06 f 150 5.4 CC. It happens every once in awhile while starting but it only pops up for a second when cranking. Also I've never had a single issue with the truck. It's been doing it for quite a while. Thanks

That's normal they always say check gauges mine does it too. I'm pretty sure it's just a reminder

Mine does it too, I'm thinking it has to do with timing of turning the key to start... I've noticed it happens more if I put the key in and turn really fast but if I put the key in and wait a sec
And then turn it doesn't happen. I may be wrong but that's what I noticed.

Mine says it every time I start the truck, once you start it there's a single chime and that's when it says check gauges.
