cheap gear swap?
I want to get the gears changed on my truck and was wondering if it would be cheaper to buy the parts myself and have a shop install them or just go through the shop?

just ask the shop. plan on the gears running on the cheap side of 200 per set plus install kit. to the better yukon gears for almost double that so parts can run 600-1000 . find out what gears they use and the warranty with them. some are lifetime and some are 1 year.
