Cheap Exhaust!

I did the same to my 93
My 93 f150 with a 300 six rusted out two mufflers in 6 years. I got tired of replacing them so I went to Midas, got a piece of pipe same length as the muffler and slid it in. 8 years afterword the same piece of pipe is in there.
It ssemed to be a problem because the water vapor in the exhaust would condense inside the muffler(creating acid) that would attack the muffler.
My father always told me that mufflers rust from the inside out.
It was noisy but reliable.

why are some people attacking others for what they have done to their truck. Its theirs and they can do whatever they want no matter what others think.The amount of money spent on mods dont make them better then others. I guess some dont really have a LIFE and need to vent their frustration....

I think it looks awesome, but I have to aggre tha for another 20 you could have goten a nice stainless magnaflow tip, or I even woudl have sent you my old one for shipping, lol. But the one you have looks good.
I have dont this on my old dakota, and liked it quite a bit. and you cant get anythign better for the price, lol.
Over all, I like the mod
