I'll see what I can do tomorrow. Recording won't be a problem. I'll have to see how easy/hard it is to put it on here and let it open up. I might just have to post a You Tube video and give you a link.

Secondly to the guy dissing my tip.. First of all. If you're going to discredit my exhaust tip while you're are discrediting someone else. Get your facts straight. A 40 series muffler is a chambered design. That's what Flowmaster calls their "Delta Flow" Technology. So there aren't any baffles to "rust out"

Thirdly... My AUTOZONE TIP is at least Stainless Steel, as is the pipe that I welded in. You're 40 series that you know so much about is made of 16 gauge Aluminized Steel.

first off, i was talking about flowmasters in general they rust out on the inside, i have one and it got louder after about 1000 miles and i have had it for a year and its already showing rust so i think i know a thing or two about them... and your telling me that this muffler has no baffles to rust out? http://flowmastermufflers.com/40_delta.html theres 3 in that delta flow

Default Video Clip

I posted a video of the exhaust on my myspace page.

It's a 4 year old digital camera, so the quality isn't the best. You'll get an idea though.

If you look up the merriam-webster definition, then I'll give it to you. It's a baffle(a device to deflect, check, or regulate flow or passage). But what I was trying to get across (when I was a bit perturbed about you talking my tip down), is that Flowmasters with the delta flow system use a series of resonant chambers, not baffles, that create the signature "Flowmaster" sound.

Like I said... Dictionary definition. --I'll give it to you--.

Automotive Term... Chamber.

This is the last I'm going to post about it. I said in my last post that technically it is.

I was just being a bit more specific.

In a good faith gesture, here's an example of what I'm talking about. No need to get further wrapped around the axle about this.
