Default Changing Spark Plugs

Hi all, I have some dumb questions, maybe someone can help me out. The most I've done on any vehicles has been swapping out an alternator and changing oil. I have a 2007 Ford F150 Triton V8 with 97K on it and had a check engine light come on with loss of acceleration and sputtering. I figured out through online research that it was most likely the spark plugs needing changed. So, I have changed out 6 of them (which was quite an experience) and will do a 7th this weekend. One in particular is giving me trouble, the one on the passenger side in the back. I can't get back in there to get to it. I have taken off the PCM, but there is some other stuff in the way that I don't know what it is, and if I can just unplug it. I'm having trouble finding information on what this stuff is and how to remove it, either online or in my Haynes Repair Manual. The area in question is in the attached photo, indicated by a red arrow. This isn't an actual photo of my truck, but a stock photo I found online.

You need to get a telescoping extension and a ratchet with a swiveling handle. It allows you to thread the needle through all the things in your way and get a half-way decent shot at that back plug. Be sure to use a bona fide spark plug socket, and not just a generic 9/16 deep. I did not remove my PCM.

I vaguely remember taking the PCM out, in order to get to that back one. Then I believe I had to loosen some other items on the engine.

Mine was an 08 though.

Default I take out the pcm and bracket it is easy, bungey stuff out of your way .

Wobble extensions help-- different lengths . 3/8 flex head socket wrench --long handle to break torque . . harbor freight makes some good cheap ones . Get you some cardboard and cushions to lay up there to reach way back there . Or else you will get sore from being poked .
A 3/8 universal joint is always nice to have . Make sure you have rubber insert sparkplug socket 3/8 drive .
Mines an 05 so I can't make out what you are pointing at .

I got this setup onto all 8 plugs.
I also removed the PCM.

Seems like an unneeded step, but whatever floats your boat.
