Default Changing Diff Gears

I have a 2006 Ford F150 5.4L automatic 2WD with 3:73 in the Diff. I tow a 27' Toyhauler that pushes 10,000 laden. It strugles up hill BAD! I want to change the Diff gears. I was thinking 4:56 or 4:88. I know gas milage will go down, but as it is right now, it gets awful gas milage on any hill. I want to ease the burden on the truck. Any ideas?

Suggest you're slightly above the recommended maximum towing limit for that vehicle - for both the 3.73 and 4.1 options. Not sure a gear change, even to the extremes you suggest, is going to gain much more.
