Truck looks great, but nothing like mine! Lol

And please don't buy cheap Amazon or eBay cop's. I am a firm believer of Motorcraft parts where our ignition is concerned.

Believe in what works, regardless of the brand. I've been using the "cheap Amazon cop's" for three years and haven't had a problem. You can get eight replacements for the cost of one Motorcraft. The 137 reviews and 4 star rating speaks for itself.

Is there a great how to to replace boots and springs? Upon looking inside the box a whole bunch of springs and boots and looked like a big oh mess (pieces everywhere), I just said screw it and just replaced the plugs, but may change boots at a later time.

The boot just pulls off the coil. Not sure about the spring. It probably just twists out.

Its a breeze. The spring just pulls off a copper contact in the "nipple" of the coil. Just push and twist the new spring on and push on the boot.

How about you start your own thread in the proper years section? Go to the 97-03 section and start thread.

^^Agreed about the motorcraft parts only...but I guess if you've had luck for this long you probably wouldn't be motivated to switch now. I just can't believe the quality can be that good if you can get 8 COP's for the price of one Motorcraft OEM part...
