Changed fuel filter today

When I changed mine this year I bought the one form the auto parts store that it called for... went home and took it off... then realized it was the wrong one... so I went back to the parts store... and the guy there pulled several different years before and after til he found one.....mine actually uses a 2008 over a 2007.... guess maybe a midyear change?

You made me laugh because I did the same thing taking a gas bath. Before I changed mine I just read a great tip about putting an old towel over the filter to protect you from the fuel spray as you disconnect it. Problem is I had a brain fart and forgot the towel.
