I would hope none broke since your 08 has the updated design that doesnt break.

For those saying Motorcraft only, read the title and OP. He is not going to use Motorcraft. There is no convincing him otherwise.

So if you are just going to say "use motorcraft" don't bother commenting. If you have a preference for a different brand, go ahead and actually be helpful.

Don't listen then.
You should go with the most expensive, super-duper, 4 way split electrode, side firing, diamond tipped, plasti-dipped non-American brand. Happy trails.

I will also point out, no spark plug in a NA engine will improve performance. If you are worried about breakage, as stated, the SP-515 is updated to no longer break. What narrowed it down to Champion or E3?

That is our preference for a different brand. I don't know how we can be any more helpful than that, but go ahead and use something else, we'll see you and your buddy back when the misfiring starts.

Trying to figure out who has'nt been helpful here? If your not getting the results your looking for here, you might try the Honda forums.

My plasti-dipped Splitfire plugs added 100hp and lasted 300k.

EDIT: You have to use the red plasti-dip for these results.

Well your 'friend' is an idiot then. The ONLY plug I would use other then motorcraft would be the HT autolite plugs. If you actually read the tsb or guides on here on how to do the swap and use high temp antiseize on the barrel of the plug you will not have a problem removing them again. But whatever do what you want and as already stated go ahead and make a misfire thread before you install those e3's to save yourself some time in posting.

Yes, that is correct. I forgot to add that.
