Great, glad you didn't try to turn it over. How's it running now?

runs a little better but it doesn't want to idle.it runs rough then runs ok but if you give it gas it hesitates then pics up.im going to try driving it howe(about 30 miles from where I worked on it)I'm going to go get it right now.question if the code is saying a timing issue doesn't that mean timing issue not plugs or coilovers?or can they be a factor?the plugs and coils?

well not good I just tried driving it home and didn't even get 1/8 mile befor turning around ugg.skipping and no power.i didn't change the coil overs but the code says timing and bank one is lean I recently had the cam fasers and cylinoids done by Mr Tire taking it back to them multiple times with the same issue it started with.they said its the plugs causing the timing issue?

I'm trying to determin if the plugs or coilovers have anything to do with the timing?Like if the trucks skipping will it cause the timing to advance or retard?because its throwing a timing code but no misfire codes.but the shop I had do the cam fasers and cylinoids and timing chain are claiming its the plugs and coilovers. Is their any truth to that?

My bet is VCT solenoid, even though they are new. I had a (new) defective Motorcraft solenoid when I did the timing on my '05. Threw all kinds of codes from multiple misfires, to over-retarted, to over-lean. Replaced that and it ran like a champ afterwards...

ya that's what I thought. they already replaced a faulty cylinoid.now their saying its the plugs or coils. I paid them 2360.00 to fix my truck and when it leaves their shop it runs ok but then 30 miles later it runs like poo.there saying its nothing they done
