Sorry for the delay on answering. I have been super busy at work and had no time to check the post. Answering some questions, the cable I keep on talking about is the electronic shifter cable. Goes from the shifter inside the center console to the transmission. Remember that you will have to buy a new cable since there is no way to use the old one and, a bracket that corresponds to that cable. Also I installed the GPS, with stereo DVD and CD player. I added an integrated blue tooth system for the phone and voice command. Back up camera, back up sensors and blind spot sensors. Everything works like a Swiss watch.

I must be an idiot but I do not like the newer bodies so I bought another F150, this time a lariat and, with the center console. I have already done some changes... installed the same GPS, DVD, CD.. system, added the blind spot sensors, the front infra red, the back up camera and, this time I have added a gadget that reflects on the windshield the navigation, speed and rpm (it is like being in a fighter jet cockpit; and nope, it does not disturb you visibility while driving at all). Also a friend fixed my seats to have not just heater but also AC. Changed the front lights with LED and... after all these and having a gorgeous truck... my son had taken full possession if it!
Could you please post links of where you got the electronic shifter cable, the cable bracket, and any other parts you had to get besides the console it self? Or maybe a list of parts you need to complete this?
I am not sure anyone can answer this but i just removed my jump seat from my 2007 STX extended cab and redid the flooring. I don't want to put the jump seat back in and ordered a full console with the shifter online. I have a console shifter but I am going to make the part where the shifter goes something else (looking for cupholder to put there if i can find one). My question is I don't know if the console is going to come with the floor bracket, is it possible to still mount it with the 4 bolts or will I have to try and find one or custom fab something. Any help is greatly appreciated.
I am interested in doing the reverse swap and taking out my center console and replacing it with the jumper seat and moving to the steering column shifter. Anyone have a jumper seat (preferably black leather) having done the previous swap?
