I have my cb wedged between the driver seat and my center console its actually a great spot. it's easy to access and tune when needed. this is just temporary though I'm thinking of installing it inside the center console out of sight just haven't gotTen around to it.

Mine sits well under my rear seat in my crew cab. With my linear under it there was no need to drill or Velcro anything and I have plenty of mic travel.

I use the CB for communication around town. Its kinda sad when i can gett better range and reception with the CB than that of my cell phone! I also work on my families farm and we use them all the time as well for road trips to find out weather conditions and where the cops are sitting.

I am actually working on making my Cobra 29 LTD BT fit into my center console where the ash tray is at and mounting it somewhat flush so it retains that factory look! will keep you updated and have pictures and instructions when i get it done.

I was also looking to remove the center 12 V power outlet by my parking sensor override and putting a cobra 19 III in there or some other small radio! those are the only 2 places I can think of to mount them

i mounted mine over christmas. I put it on the bottom side of the dash between the steering column and the door. you might think it would be in the way but its actually perfect. It doesnt effect leg room enought to even notice. Ill post some pics up later today. I have to run new coax did some wheeling last night and caught one of the wires on a rock.

there is a small pressure vent behind the rear plastic panel on both sides... pop both of the plastic clips and a coax will fit right through the vent....
