No cost for inspection in New Jersey, but damn are they strict. No way in hell could I get away with no cats unless I rigged up a system where I made a pipe that interchanged with them when inspection time comes.

On the smoking reference. You can't smoke indoors in New Jersey. I mean, you can at your house, but all restaurants, bars, casinos, etc are non-smoking only. You get the people that stand outside and smoke. Sucks for smokers.

uh sorry to say your wrong bud but you have to have cats on your truck in tn, its federal law i think, and you wont find many muffler shops that will cut them off, if they do and its found out they get hit with a big ole fine, and if you get it done you can prob get away with it because we have no inspections but it is against the law

I think youll need O2 simulators to run right without throwing a code.

Here in NY you need cats for a visual inspection but if you know somebody you really dont need them. My Mustang is supposed to have 4 and it doesnt have any but its got a sticker.

What model is your mustang? My buddy says I can take all 4 off it won't do anything but turn the check engine light on, but I have an edge programmer so I'm pretty sure I can turn that off. Does your check engine light stay on?
