Default carbon fiber hood?

I have a dark shadow grey 07 fx2. I'm interested in knowing anyone's opinion on a carbon fiber hood and if anyone knows who makes one or willing to. Any suggestions?

Be careful of quality. My son bought a carbon fiber hood and trunk for his Dodge SRT-4. Looked great for about 2 months. They are both fogging up. He can buff it out and it will last for about a week before the surface becomes foggy again. Two paint shops told him to just paint them the color of the rest of the car. He will gain the light weight advantage, but loose on the 'cool factor', which was really what he was after. I figured he could have them sanded and re-clear coated. Nethier body shop would do it. They said carbon fiber pieces can't be refinished.
I like those metal hoods that are being sold with the cold air scoops; they do make the trucks look aggressive. I just cant afford the price of the hood plus paint right now.

Yeah I know..$$$$$. The one I am getting is $1400 + shiping. Trying to see if some of the performance shops are hurting enough to get me a deal.

My cousin has a Ram air Fiber glass hood, it looks awesome and was easily painted and has held up extremely welll....Was about $500 and his dad owns a paint booth so paint was like 50 bucks...It weighs about the same as the stock hood.
