I kind of had 2 of those. Tried a few times and the tool didnt want to bite. I just had to really push down to get those lisle tool threads to grab and the plugs finally came out.
Nerve racking thinking the damn things wouldnt come out.

Put thread locker on the tool before trying to get it to bite and let it dry

Well boys I ain't a 5.4 3v spark plug change virgin any more. The lisle tool that I had borrowed had worn threads on it. Went and bought a new one this morning and got all 3 of them right out. #4 was just a tad of a pain to get to bit not all that bad. Thanks again for the help

I, for one, wish we had a more humane initiation procedure that we could offer our fellow 5.4L 3v owners club members!

Congrats on your success.
