can't figure it out
Hi I recently bought a F-150 super cab stx. In the back seat near the sliding window is a strap, I don't know what it's for. Seems like it should release something, Does anybody know what it's for?

pull on the straps, if they give a little then theyre what u have to pull to make the top of the rear seat fold, (how it is on my grandpas f350 ex cab), if they dont give its a seat anchor, pretty simple test

I do not know what they are but I do not think they are child seat anchors. The anchors are federally regulated and they must be integrated into the seat frame and/or body of vehicle. They must be constructed of metal.

Pg 161 of my owners guide 2002 says "the rear seat of the Supercab has three straps behind the top of the seatback that function as both routing loops for the tether straps and anchor loops".
