Cannot tell the difference between between the high and low beams on the HID Kit.
I'm having a problem with my HID kit. It was a plug and play so it was easy to install, but for some reason, I cannot tell the difference between the high beams and the low beams. I had even lowered my headlights by 30% and still no difference to me.
I pulled up in front of a large window tonight and started flicking the lights. When I look at the reflection, the light bulbs inside of the headlights turns off and on, I mean the location of them. When I flick one way, it seems like the top portion of the headlight come on, seems like just one bulb on top comes on, when I turn on the opposite, it seems like the bottom portion of the headlight come on, seems like two bulbs on the bottom come on.
So top-one bulb, bottom-two bulbs, but cannot tell the difference which is high, which is low. They both reflect the same amount of light, and lights the same distance on the road.
When I turn on either way (high and low), the light reflects bluish on the road for 5 seconds (correct, the color of my bulbs) but then goes back to whitish. Happens on high and low.
By looking at the headlight and its bulbs, what part of the headlight comes on for high beams and what part of the headlight comes on for low beams. Should I be able to tell the difference by looking at the headlights from the side.
This has been been bothering me for weeks now, please help.
Thank you,
Jon
