Yes, although I only have a 4" lift, mine is my daily driver and fun on the weekends. I also only have 17" wheels, but I am running 35's and have for a number of years. With my career I drive quite a bit going from jobsite to jobsite. Some jobs can be within minutes of the house and others may be up to 2hrs. one way, just all depends. Sad, but at the moment I am toying around with the idea of replacing my 4" lift with a 6", why? I have absolutely no good reason to give you....lol

If you're worried about fuel mileage and commuting, you shouldn't lift your truck. A lift will not really decrease it much, maybe .5- 1 MPG, but tires will bring it down 4-5 MPG most likely depending on what size and brand you go with. When I lifted mine, I bought a 2,500 Honda for commuting to school and it has paid itself off 3-4 times in two years. Just food for thought.

yea i know i shouldn't be to concerned with the MPG, just wondering though..thats exactly what i was going to try to do was get like a little 4 banger for my commute..just going to add to the expense and maybe psh back getting work done to my truck. as of right now im getting 9 MPG on my truck..and actually just brought it to shop yesterday and it had a clogged cat on drivers side all 4 cylinders were misfiring

That would sure explain the 9 mpg! For reference mine stock could pull 19 on a 55 mph long trip. Now with everything on it if I try for mpg I can get 14-15 max. The Honda gets 29-32.

I have a pro comp 3inch level lift and 33s on my 08 and a edge chip and I'm getting 18-22 on highway. They say I can clear 35s and it looks as if I could but I'm to scared to try and they not fit.
