just my opinion, sounds like a bad drivers side exhaust manifold to me, from what ive read on these forums they are prone to failure.

Don't sound like the cam phasers or exhaust leak. Just my opinion but that sounds like the engine.

I don't think it's a miss fire, the engine is not shaking enough. If it was a miss it would throw the engine out of balance and you should be able to see it dancing on the motor mounts. Let me ask you this does that noise go away after you drive it and get it warmed up? I had an exhaust leak on mine and it sounded pretty similar to that. Also if your manifold has cracked it may do that all the time. Pull your inner fender wells out and check the studs and manifolds over good.

Yes the sound never goes away, it's pretty constant even after warm up!

Sounds like a manifold leak. It probably has a serious crack in it and I won't close up even after the engine warms up. I did my manifolds over the winter and didn't have a single broken stud. Both my manifolds had about a two inch crack that you could fit a finger nail in.

Sounds like this guy and i are on the same page. Paul let us know what you find out. if the noise never goes away I bet you got some cracked exhaust manifolds. I would replace them with oem or a nice set of performance manifolds. I'd stay away from the dorman, if I remember correctly I thought there was some posts about them having quality issues

Really doubt its a cam phaser as it doesn't go away at higher rpm. Usually the cam phaser is only audible below 1200 rpm. I would have to agree on the manifold leak.
