Default Can larger tires mess up your transmission?

I have 24's on my truck with 305/35/24 tires on it and was curious if i dont have a tuner/programer could it mess up my truck's transmission? or possibly anything else? (other than the speedometer because i already know it's off by 5 mph)

The only problem it is going to cause will be a hotter transmission. The shifts points will possibly cause the transmission to heat up similar to when your pulling a heavy trailer.

Its like trying to start from a dead stop on a hill in the highest gear on your 3 speed when your a kid... ok maybe not that hard but you get the idea

If you buy a tuner, it has a transmission temp gauge so you can see if your getting hot. Or you could get an aftermarket tranny temp gauge
