Default Can a F150 pull a Ram 2500?

Hello All,
I have a 2005 4x4 F150 FX4, Crew Cab, short bed with the 5.4 Engine. I'm buying a 2005 4x4 Ram 2500, Cummins, Quad Cab, Short bed with the 6 speed manual. The problem is I live in Baltimore and the Ram is in West Virginia and I can't get tags for the truck until it is Maryland inspected. Am I asking to much of the F150 to haul the ram 2500 on a car trailer? Its about a 5.5 hour drive through the mountains of west virginia and western maryland and levels off as I get closer to Baltimore. Thanks for any help.

Pat

Welcome to the site and all I have to say is BUILT FORD TOUGH!!!!

That Cummins is a pretty heavy truck and you're going to haul it through the mountains?? I'd recommend trying to get a temp tag from the DMV just so you can get it home. I would hate for you to mess up the tranny on your Ford by hauling that Dodge.

I agree with Triton, not sure I'd want to try it with my truck, especially through those W.VA mountains, they ain't no joke.
