I have a 2005 4x4 F150 FX4, Crew Cab, short bed with the 5.4 Engine. I'm buying a 2005 4x4 Ram 2500, Cummins, Quad Cab, Short bed with the 6 speed manual. The problem is I live in Baltimore and the Ram is in West Virginia and I can't get tags for the truck until it is Maryland inspected. Am I asking to much of the F150 to haul the ram 2500 on a car trailer? Its about a 5.5 hour drive through the mountains of west virginia and western maryland and levels off as I get closer to Baltimore. Thanks for any help.

Welcome to the site and all I have to say is BUILT FORD TOUGH!!!!
That Cummins is a pretty heavy truck and you're going to haul it through the mountains?? I'd recommend trying to get a temp tag from the DMV just so you can get it home. I would hate for you to mess up the tranny on your Ford by hauling that Dodge.

why are you buying a dodge?..........you should pull it with the ford just to get use to it.......lol..........you should leave that trailer hooked on the ford ,you never no when you will need it...lol.......Just kiddin,,you got to check the weight.
