I am an offroad hunter, fisher, camper. I don't drag race, if I wanted that I would have gotten a Stang. If I had the extra 40k

The superchip flashpaq is in the upper $300's to the $400's for the cortex. Another $100 would get a custom tuner w/ tunes. Just sayin, $100 is way worth if you put a anything on it, hell even if you don't.

And, just as dp said, everyone has their preferences with tuners as with anything. Two of my buddies have the Superchip in their 06's and they love them. They perform very well

great question Lenn, i was looking for the same answers. the only question i have now is can i order a custom tune now and continue to mod the truck later? will the tune need an update? what does that cost?

basically, can i get the tune now, before i change the gearing and lift the truck a few inches?

Go to the section you want to post in, and click NEW POST. Quickest way to the main section where it lists all the sub sections is click on the ***Ford F150 Forum - Community of Ford Truck Fans*** link towards the top right.

You can get the tune and have them alter in a little bit later. MOSt of the guys will acommodate. The gear ratio is an adjustable option on the tuners so that wouldn't be an issue either.
