Can any one educate me on fuel pumps?
Hi Ford fans!
I am in the hunt for a fuel pump that is E85 friendly that I can pull out of junkyards. I noticed that the 5.4L trucks starting in 06 are E85 / flex fuel ready, and I believe this may be a good factory fuel pump to use (most likely in a twin configuration for my race car project).
Anyway, few questions.
1. Are there specific "flex fuel versions" of the 06+ f150, or did ALL F150's get a flex fuel option?
2. Does anyone know what the manufacture of a stock FFV f150 fuel pump is. Model numbers, etc?
3. How do multiple tank situations work? What tank feeds the "high pressure" or whatever you would call it?
4. Anything else you think I should know about Ford flex fuel pumps? Changes from year to year? What about 09+?

Yes, it's an option. There is a different letter in the VINs between the gas and FF versions of the 5.4.

Rockauto didn't seperate ffv from gas, and I don't want an aftermarket pump in these high flow conditions.
I really appreciate the part listing from above, it at least confirms that they are different. Now I just need to find out if the sending units or the pumps make the price different from model to model.
