Thats a pretty good price. My buddy said $300 if I buy the parts and he will have it done in 2 days. He did his with all Motorcraft but the ticking came back within 15k. He was pissed and did the Livernois lock-outs and said that is the route he should have done first. He is an ASE certified mechanic and has now done several for people using the Livernois kit.

Cam phaser noise and failures are the #1 issue these engines are unfortunately notorious for later on in life. Other than the well known spark plug pains of course, let's not go into that one...

We offer a complete, permanent solution for the 4.6 and 5.4 3 Valve modular engine's cam phaser issues. Our cam phaser noise repair kit will eliminate the moving portion of the cam phasers that is lacking lubrication by locking them in a fixed place so they will never give you this problem ever again. Of course we always recommend to make sure there are not any other issues like a broken timing chain guide or something similar while doing this installation.

It's fully CARB approved (CARB E.O. Nos D-752) including in the wonderful State of California. All of the other companies offering the kit can't match that, not all of the tuners are created equal. We have worked on development for this solution for several years including emissions testing.

Other than the usual culprits, these engines are very durable and have been proven to live a long trouble free lifespan after eliminating the variable cam timing that continues to haunt owners time after time.

We have customers telling us every day that they wish they would have found our solution sooner. Many call us after they have wasted thousands upon thousands of dollars in unnecessary repairs for the same issues to reoccur time and time again. Replacing the phaser will not fix the issue, upgrading the oil pump alone will not help either as the oil passages that feed the phasers with precious oil are still all gummed up with deposits.

The programming function of the tuner when plugged into the vehicle, will extract the files that are currently on the ECM, patch them for the addition of the lockout kit and then reload the patched files back onto the ECM. This means that any performance tunes from any company that are on the ECM will be fully compatible with the lockout programming.

Feel free to give us a shout if you would like to discuss this further or place an order as well. We're here for you!

So I'm pretty sure the pipe on it now is 2.25", so should I stick to 2.5" instead of 3" or should it be on since I'm going si/so?
