I bought a stethoscope to verify that the engine ticking is the cam phasers. I then took it to the local dealer where I bought the truck and got a full synthetic oil change. After about 6k miles, the tick has diminished significantly.....Now, I think I still have another related ticking noise. Just had a dual exhaust installed and the tech said I had an exhaust leak......How do I verify that my morning? I have noticed that it is more prominent on the passenger side.

Do keep in mind that the injectors in these trucks are quite loud themselves. When my cam phasers were going you could really tell as they were making an awful smacking noise.
