Cam Phaser Help
Let me start off by saying I love my F150 and I wouldn't trade her for anything different. It has the 5.4 with 133,000 miles. Before she got "sick" she pulled a 3/4 Dodge with blown rear tires and a 5th wheel camper up a steep muddy hill!!
Recently it started "knocking" and now sounds like a diesel with very little power. After reading and researching I think its a cam phaser issue. I was wondering if anyone could help point me in the right direction. I've read several posts about replacing the cam phasers and a few DIY posts. Does anyone know where I could find a more detailed description or video of this? Thanks for your help!

I don't know much about the 5.4 3V, but I did take out the cam phasers on my Mustang (4.6 3V) when I changed cams. I assume the procedure would be similar for the 5.4. Here's a video showing how to remove cams on a 3V Mustang:
