Default Calling all truck owners who at one point, had stering wheel vibrations

Ok just like the title says,"Steering wheel vibrations"Besides for my tires probably being off balanced cause my tread is so low(under the tread marker,my new tires come in the mail in 2 weeks)Anything else ppl could throw my way on what it could be if in fact its not my tires?Just want to be ready for it.

Also for ppl who had this problem, what did you,or the dealership to fix it so its done right the first time?I have a 05 scab with a 2.5inch leveling kit if the leveling kit matters in the vibration.Just started last week at around 55k/miles.Had the leveling kit on there now for a year and half and never did it before, not once.So need ideas y'all. Thanks

Is it occurring when you apply the brakes or all the time? If it is when you are applying the brakes, most likely your rotors are warped and will need to be turned or replaced.

I would check stuff like suspension bushings/connections. Also check for any play in steering connections that could allow the wheels to move.

alot of times it is because the vehicle needs a front end alignment should be done every time you change your tires because they are all a little bit different

No and No to the above 2 posters.

It is not always related to bad tires or bad alignment. I have had a shake at 60+mph and I have had my alignment checked 3 different times at 3 different shops and all say it is spot on. I have had my "new" tires balanced and forced balanced and those are perfect.

My shake did not occur until I did my level kit and put 295's on. I've checked all the bolts and bushing and still can't find a cure.

....oh and it was recommended a steering stabilizer upgrade but they don't have any for my 05. If you have a lift they make one.
