Default Caliper Brand Replacement Questions 5.4 4wd

So i recently purchased first f150. 04 5.4 4WD. caliper in front froze on me when driving yesterday. shaking terribly, i knew rotors were prolly warped but now shakes when driving. rim extremely hot.

so my question is brand.....carquest uses Cardone which i found on partsgeek.com for half the price of carquest. but Autozone has the duralast brand with a lifetime warranty. any dangers going with one or other? recommendations? im going to go ahead and do new rotors, calipers and pads. bleed line etc. thanks

Ive used autozones in the past and have had no problem with them. I actually bought severe duty rotors from them and have them on my truck now. I use them.all the time for parts on our ambulances. When I do have a problem their customer service is top notch.

thanks for info. i see those severe duty rotors but they dont offer them for my truck but they are listed for some reason. im thinking i might pull trigger on AutoZone's for the warranty. just need to get mounting hardware/brackets from somewhere else i guess. all the other kits i see come with it.

I have duralast calipers which are remanufactured ford calipers on the front of my truck for over two years now. I also put on duralast rotors and cmax ceramic pads at the same time and they are still fine. The pads and calipers are lifetime warranty so if you ever have them fail or when the pads wear down, they will replace them.

Used a reman caliper from advance auto, ended up being like $30 after I turned my old one into them. Works great

Lifetime warranty on the pads. Can't say I've ever heard of that one.

Its true. Pulled trigger today. Got duralast calipers, rotors and pads. Pads are lifetime replacement as long as you dont allow metal to metal. Rotors 2 yr warranty with no questions asked policy. Also calipers lifetime replacement if they ever freeze.
