So here is my answer straight from Edge about a CAI with the Edge Evo:

"In our testing we have found that we get some of our best performance without a cold air intake however we have also had many customers that have been very happy with the cold air intake tunes that we have for many of the popular cold air intakes. Here is a list of intakes we support for your model year of vehicle:

Air Force 1 4”, Air Force 1 3”, S&B, AEM, AirAid, K&N, AFE

All of these are good intakes but I have heard many good things about AFE, AirAid, and S&B.

If you are strictly looking for better economy and power using a cold air intake may not yield huge results, but if you want the truck to sound mean when you accelerate cold air intakes often help accomplish that."

So it seems that just running the gotts with the Evo should be just as good as anything else unless I want it to sound more "mean"

I have an Evo with CAI on my truck and IMO, it's totally worth it. It's what first gave Thunder his rumble! I love my truck...=D

With a properly calibrated tune, you will gain more power with an aftermarket intake then with the factory box.

Hey I know this thread is a little old, but I had a question about the topic. I ordered an Edge Evolution, and then I see on Edge's website that I am not supposed to used a cold air intake with it. But I see a lot of people on here saying they do... What gives?
