So you figured out how to get the scoop on the 2004-08?? I've been wanting to add it on my S&B

Yeah, it was easy.. Just head down to the junkyard and look at all the factory intake ducting on some of the cars down there.. Your bound to find a good match for that sharp 90 degree turn and offset....

I found my piece of the puzzle near the dodge caravans and ford windstars.. I think its the end hood to grill lip snorkel piece of one of those 2 vehicles. I'm not positive since I found it on the ground.. I trimmed the mouth wide and slid it around the tow hook.. Then I just zip tied it in place to the frame. Then bent the slinky (accordion) style 3" pipe to meet it.. Just sticking a pipe down into the wheel well area will be a big help to get ambient cold air to be honest... But the scoop at the tow hook gets that cold air much quicker..

Here's the only other pic I got right now... I was just recently snapping pics of my front end rebuild..

but how long until you even break even $$$ wise at 1 MPG gained?
About a gazillion years.. Just KD....1 MPG sounds like nothing but in this case it is equal to 7.6 percent in saving every time you drive base on a 13 MPG average around the city.
