Cable going to the rear end
Hey guys. For the past week or so, I have been hearing a rattle from underneath my truck. I suspected it was my exhaust, so yesterday I climbed underneath and confirmed my suspiscions about the exhaust making the rattle.
While I underneath, I started examining other components and noticed that the exhaust seem to be burning the protective cover off a group of three green wires (bundled with the protective coating) that lead to a connecter that goes to the rear end. Obviously they have something to do with the rear end, but can somebody else give me more info on what it is? I figure a truck cant sound good when it cant drives, so I unbolted my exhaust and re-wraped the wires with electrical tape to prevent further damage. Do yall think im good? opinions, ideas?
