Default A/C Problems

So I had some problems with my A/C compressor vibrating. So, I took it apart and I found some scoring in it. Does anyone have any clue how it happened? Does anyone know how to rebuild these?

Easier to simply get a remanufactured one. I'd also have the system cleaned, as you may have crap in the A/C system. Replace the dryer as well.

This happened to me. Your compressor is toast regardless. I think the vibrations come from a slight bend in the shaft. Needless to say, when I pulled my orifice to change, it was completely caked full of metal shavings.

that is no doubt one of the strangest things I have ever seen. I think we have different conditions though, mine literally made the whole truck shake violently, and there were tons of metal shavings in my orefice.

My engine too was shaking when I had the A/C on. I was surprised that I did not find any metal in it. What a pain in the butt. But it was fun to take the pump apart and see the insides.
