A/C controls clicking?
Hello all. This is my first attempt at posting so please bear with me.
I recently purchased a 06 F150 Lariat Crew Cab 4x4 and absolutely love it. Low miles (51K) and very clean. The only mod I've done so far is installation of 2" leveling spacers with more mods on the way as time and money allows.
I have an issues that I could use some help with. When the A/C is making temp adjustment, there is a constant, but inconsistent, clicking noise coming from under the dash around the controller. When I set the temp at it's lowest setting (60 degrees) there is no clicking, but when I bump it up a little higher (65 to 70 degrees), the clicking starts. I'm presuming that it is some type of a door or controller that is moving to blend a small volume of warm air to the cold air as the temp is adjusted from max cold to slightly warmer. This movement of the blending door or controller would seem to be the source of the clicking.
Has any other members experienced this problem and if so, what was the remedy?
Also please tell me of any posting error or improvements.

AC controls clicking
Thanks for the reference. The search tool is going to take a little while to get use to. Not user friendly for the beginner but I'm sure it will get easier as time passes.
