Default Buying used edge evolution
I'm thinking about buying a used edge evolution off craigslist. The one I'm looking at came of a 99 4.6l f150 and I was wondering if it work for my 08 5.4l f150? Are they model/year/engine specific? And any tips on buying one, like what to watch for and what not to buy would be much appreciated!

will not work for you.. you need a unit for an 04 - 08 part number 15051

It can work for you, but you will need to send it to Power Hungry Performance to have it updated and buy an updated OBDII cable. That is what I am in the process of doing right now.
