Buying Used
Looking at buying one of two used F150s and wondering if anyone is starting to have issues with theres as they reach Higher Mileages. I haven't got wind of any major TSBs from ford but figured I'd check around. The one I'm really leaning at is an FX4 higher mileage of 81k the other is an XLT with 43k. The XLT for sure has the 5.4 in it but I'm not certin on the FX4. I'm buying it mostly so I can turn my current F350 back over to my dad so we can dump his car which is on the way out.

fx4's only came with 5.4's
years on these trucks? both trucks are mechanically identical, except for the gearing may be different between too. nothing real major, issues with spark plugs all years pretty much, some 05's have injector failure, i would try to buy 06 and newer personally.
