That's exactly What I have.. Don't do it. It won't be level, when the collar is in stock height with with spacer..

Are you going to a stock ride height shock and a 2.5" spacer?
I called pro comp. They will honor the 90 day ride warranty in my case, because i curently do not have a spacer.

So if I ran a spacer with the pro comps, they won't honor me with the 90 day warrantee?

If these shocks have the spring perch below the factory's perch on the shock body, I wonder if I can set them to 1" and run my 2.5" spacer? Assuming 1 is still close to the factory perch setting.. Any thoughts???

You cant set the pro comps to 1" its either "so called stock" or 2.5"

the bilsteins can be run at 1"

Good to know... I'm probably going with bilsteins if that's the case...

Since pro comp seems to be OK with me returning the shocks for a full refund (minus shipping of course) I think im going to look into getting something else at stock ride height and get a spacer. The guy i talked to at pro comp said they are working on the stiffness issue but he could no give me a resolution at this time. He was kind and understanding of my concerns but im still up in the air about these. Its a shame too, truck looks awesome, and i have about 5 hours into the install.

if you gonna spend the money just buy bilsteins & run them at your desired height i dont see why anyone would ever run bilsteins & a 2.5inch spacer, just use the provided lift from the shocks. Ill be ditching my spacer for those as soon as i can any kind of spacer in suspension scares me.

Thanks for the info. I think I'm set on the bilsteins at this point. I was gonna go with rancho 9000's, but the quality and self adjusting design of the bilsteins have me sold..
...Do you think the ride and level is bad enough on those pro comps to pull em out and get something different? That deal on the bilsteins I found is pretty hard to beat. I'm thinking of buying them tonight and not holding out for some one night only coupon code that some sites offer on Black Friday..

I agree about the labor. They were rude to me and wouldn't except any exceptions for the warranty issue. Eventhough..4wheelparts told me to install them this way!, sucks. Now I gotta spend more money on something else!

If they are going to refund my money, i figure why not try something else. The ride isnt THAT bad, its just when you hit large bumps or pot holes you really feel the jolt of the stiffness.
