Inspections..! I live in Kansas we don't have that around here. Lol. Damn that press woulda been handy for my test-tune weekend. I had those in/out 3 times it's still RAKED at this point I'm ready to spend any amount to get this truck level again...! Manual spring compressors are dangerous.

Unfortunately in Massachusetts we have inspections... I'd rather get a fresh sticker a month early then roll the dice and have tire rub and fail my inspection. I don't expect the bilsteins to lower the truck any with the spacer, but after reading about your pro comps I'd rather not chance it either......

I tried alot of options last weekend, I had the pro-comps in the lifted position, and then the spacer(just to try it) my A-arm was was hitting my coil spring. Clearly over-lifted. FYI

Saw a guy at the local machine shop yesterday with pretty much the same setup as my truck:

06 FX4, with pro-comp leveling shocks.(in the leveled position)

So i started asking him if he felt a stiff ride and some harshness, He said he originally did, but then he flipped the collar back to the stock position and it rides like a dream. He added a rough country 2" spacer after he flipped the collar back.
So i busted out the tape measure to check his agains mine. Low and behold his is only 3/8ths of an inch lower than mine.

I think im going to swap the collar and get a spacer to resolve my ride stiffness issue.
Ill update when i get everything installed.

Mine is in the stock position it rides actually pretty decent (minus my 10ply tire) I'm running 2.5"kit on top still 1/2" low.

Im wondering if your truck and my truck have a different front end package causing yours to ride a little bit lower?

What year is your truck Kansasbob?

The more research i do it seems that the 04-05 had a different coil over spring in the front than the 06-up.
