Pay no more than 11,000 for it. There is a similar one that I am looking for up in Wisconsin, has 111K on it, they are asking $13,000 for it, and it has the cab corners rotted. I ran it through TrueCar.com and it lists for $10,740.

I can do body work so the corners are not an issue for me, they cost $45 each from LMC Truck. Got a good welder and plasma cutter so I can knock them out in no time, and have access to a booth.

I offered them 10,800 and trade of my car. Will find out tomorrow what they say.

You mentioned slight (faint?) ticking...this may simply be the injectors. Many folks panic when they hear "ticking" under the hood, as the 5.4 has gained a rap sheet on this noise. However, fuel injectors tick as well, which is normal.

Yea, honestly, not concerned about the ticking noise... this ticking on this truck seems "normal"...

... this is a dumb rational but I would think at this mileage, any issues related to ticking would've already shown themselves...

I am still considering this truck, however, I am also looking into others, as $14,000 for an '05 with 125k does seem a little high based on my research... I also don't really need a supercrew, even though I really like them

I found 2 Harley Davidson Supercharged F150's for $13K around here. There are also quite a few around the $13K in the 05-07 range that have less than 125K on them as well, so keep looking, you should have no problem finding one.
