I traded in an '04 scab loaded lariat 4x4 last year with 80,000 miles on it and the dealer gave me 15k for it. The only thing that I would suggest is to make sure the spark plugs have been out. Thats one of the years that they had the problems with them seizing in the head and breaking off, I had the Ford dealer replace mine at 50k miles and they broke off 3 and then complained about the labor they had to eat to get the broken pieces out.

i wouldnt worry about the mileage too much as long as its been takin care of..ive seen some guys on here say theyre trannys or engines didnt last 60K and the only reason for that is they didnt take good care of them.. mines got 135K on it now and runs like its brand new.. my friends dad has an 06 f150 supercrew 4x4 with 300,000 miles on it and hes never had to do any tranny or engine fixes and it still runs great as the day he bought it.. hes changed spark plugs and all that but never had a problem with it at all... some people get 120 out of theirs and some get as much as the 300 my friends dad has.. just take care of it and shell take care of you for sure

To give you a real-life base, in north florida, I bought mine last month for 12k (10k+2k trade-in for a 1998 minivan).

Mine is a 06 Supercrew w/ 84k mi. (I think I got a steal.) I worked in a free plug change/tune up + trans flush into the deal. When the battery died the next day, they gave me a new battery too.

Mind you, it's NOT a Lariat, which definately spikes up the price.
