I found a pretty good deal on an 04 F150 SCREW FX4. It had a miss and an ABS module problem. The dealer replaced the plugs with motorcraft plugs and I'm waiting on them to get the new ABS module in. They did not replace the coils but they said they are good. (yeah right) I wont know until I drive it if the miss is gone or not but I will check it with toque pro. It has 166K and is fairly clean. They are asking $9k in price. I have read all about the miss and I think between new coils, cleaning TB and MAF, changing the FPDC and a couple other small ideas (one at a time until the miss is gone) I could get it for $8k. Seams like a great price to me. What do you guys think?

I got an 04 FX4 for $8k with 135k miles, has the same issues, minus the ABS problem and add in rust problems. Both of my cab corners are rusted out and some surface rust on the frame and few nicks and dings.

I think $8k is a good price, especially if you can do a lot of work on it yourself.

I got an 04 FX4 SuperCrew with 107k on it for 10500. Figured it was a good deal. Had no issues when bought. Blue booked for somewhere around 15-17k.
