I personally would never do this haha I don't know about everyone else but my truck breaks enough on it's own. My most recent repair was a transmission bearing. Apart from that I know someone that owns an 04 kr who had is transmission die driving down the highway at 45k. Another buddy of mine had a rear end problem they could never figure out on his 05 and my dad got a bad rear end from the factory on an 04. These trucks struggle enough without burnouts haha.

I didn't read the whole thread but sounds like you got traction control on. Try to turn it off

How to you turn the the traction control off on these trucks? Mine is an 05 fx4. E-brake a couple clicks, I've heard?? Mine used to light em up, not so much anymore.

Hahha take it easy guys don't worry I was in a completely empty parking lot early this morning with absolutely no cars around a 500 meter diameter. I paid big bucks I wouldn't want to smash it
I just wanted to have some fun and was curious on how other people light em up but I couldn't. My apologies if this thread strayed from the normal forum formula for threads. I thought the purpose of this site is for trucks owners to share our thoughts and insights, and when a question arises you ask it?

I guess what I might be leading up to is that I might already have something wrong not allowing me to do what I want to do. Also I don't have traction control on my truck. It's 08 2wd fx2 5.4. No button for traction control. 3.55 limited slip.

Well I have traction control on mine and if there's a way to shut it off I'd like to know how?

Is there a button labled "TCS" anywhere? I have the floor shifter console so its usually located beside my cigarette lighter on the center dash, not sure about your particular model.
How do you know for sure you have the traction control?
