Default Bumper

i have painted my XL bumper cover to match, i sanded it down and primed it and everything , and added a plastic clear coat but its still not shiny, what do i need to do to get it shiny?

wet sand and gloss clear coat. wet sanding with about 1000 grit works awesome for me and then get some gloss clear coat to spray over it.

if i wet sand it now would i get rid of the red color?

Make sure to read up on wet sanding and just like it says, make sure to keep it wet.

no. you just sand it enough to get rid of the clear coat. as soon as the sand paper starts picking up red paint just move to a different spot.

could i just go get a glossly clear coat to match it, and aviod the wetsand?

that might work. im not sure if the dull color would carry through or if it would cover it up. you could try it on a small part of the pumper and see if it works, and if it does just do the rest, and if it doesn't then i would do the wet sanding.
