It works just like all the other tuners out there. It's just not as talked about as the edge. I don't know where people ran into issues with support. I slammed mine in my door, crushing the screen. Of course this was when I was running the performance tune, with premium gas at $4.16. I called them up, and they asked if it was under warranty. I said I wasn't sure, but i knew it was clearly out of warranty, as I bought it from a friend for $100, years ago. She said send it in, and they would see what they could do. Worst thing that could happen is it would cost me $90.
I sent it in, and no questions asked, I had a new one sent to my door, free of charge.

My experience with the customer service was outstanding. When I first installed the tuner and tried installing a tune, it kept hanging up at the beginning when it would try to communicate with the ECU. Then my truck wouldn't turn over, just heard clicking. Had my truck towed to the dealership. Turns out the tuner fried my PCM relay and Bully Dog paid for the bill. I currently still have my tuner installed on premium tune.
Bully Dog has since partnered with SCT and with the new GT Platinum, you now have the ability to get custom tunes. I wish they would have done this sooner, haha!

Can anyone tell me if a tuner will help out I have a 2008 F150 5.4 I really like this truck but the vct's going and the cam phasers just wondering if the tuner can help keep the timing issues in order tired of throwing money to something that only works for a little while
