Default Bully Dog Platinum GT Gas Tuner????

Just ordered the Bully Dog Platinum GT Gas Tuner, should be here tomorrow or Wednesday.

Any opinions or advice about this tuner and its installation?

This is my first tuner so, I have zero experience with the install or expectations.

My truck is an 05 Lariat Screw 4x4 that I bought new and just hit 150,000 miles.

Truck runs great and has no current codes and does not exhibit the common phaser noises or associated component sounds that seem to be common with these engines.

Any input is appreciated!!

I do have a Spectra CAI and Magnaflow Exhaust System, which I was told would / should help with the gains from the tuner.

Just FYI

Well if you want help with a tuner on this forum, should have bought an Edge Evolution and converted it to a Gryphon or an SCT. Very few, if any 04-08 owners have anything other than what I just listed.

Well, I don't recall asking what I should have bought or what others had listed.

I asked a question and wanted an answer to said question. Summers22

Im amazed at how many people respond to posts with antagonistic, provoking, or demeaning comments on this forum.

It really didn't seem like Summers22 meant any offense. In any case, he is correct, not many on here with Bullydog tuners. It doesn't answer your question, but it may answer someone else's in the future when they search the forum. Any information relevant to the questions I ask is beneficial to me.

I do appreciate any information given in a manner that the intent is to inform, not insult.

I have read this forum for over 5 years and am familiar with the threads and topics regarding other tuner brands and benefits.

Thats the reason I started the topic. Because I wanted to know specifically about the Bullydog Platinum GT Gas Tuner.

Thanks for the feedback whatever the case!

Easy big guy. Summers22 was telling you what most of us run. When you get some info, please post it in order to help others. Summers22 has given everybody with edge programmers the tune he has, and helps others. He meant no harm.

No harm on my end as well.

Just think think that ppl should think about what and how they respond to questions is all.

I wanted specific information, not suggestions or opinions off topic.

Sorry man if I sounded rude. No harm intended. The Bully brand is not popular, so I dont think you will get many replies. For your sake I hope you do. Goodluck with it.

I hope you read these reviews from a few years ago:

https://www.f150forum.com/f4/bullydo...-tuner-155632/

https://www.f150forum.com/f4/edge-ev...gt-5-4l-97434/

I would also call 5Star, MPT or SSI and ask if they can write tunes for your device.
