Bull Bar - Front tow hooks

Bull Bar - Front tow hooks
Hey guys, I was wondering if there is anyway around get a bull bar and keeping the front two hooks. Are the Bull bars solid enought that you could toss a strap around it to rip it out from the front if you needed to (because the hooks would be gone)? Or if you plan on using your hooks avoid the bull bar?
Thanks for the input,
Ryan

If you want the hooks avoid the bull bar.
You can re-install the hooks with bigger bolts and flipped on their side, but you would need to trim a part of the air dam.
I am working on making a custom pair that will bolt up without having to trim dam I just haven't had the time.
As for the strap on the bull bar..I have thoguht about it and looked at mine when I got it...I have to say I don't think the welds on the bull bar would hold.

No the bull bar definitely is not sturdy enough to hook a tow rope to and pull yourself or someone else out if needed. It just depends on how you plan to use your truck whether you need the tow hooks or not.

Well I definitely want to be able to pull or be pulled from the front end of the truck. I will take a look and see if there is an alternative.
Are there any guards out there that have built in tow hooks?
Thanks again,
Ryan
