For one it gets rid of that 6" block you have up front. The ride difference is way better then stock, IMO. A little firmer but I like that. Doesn't feel like your riding on slush. I also did Skyjacker leafs on my rear so the only block I have is the factory 2" and my truck is perfectly level. I did all four shocks and leafs for just over a grand. I got $2400 into my suspension all together.

If you're going to get them I would also replace the rears. The RCX shocks suck.

Ya I already replaced the rears with the same ones you ordered. I'm debating about saving up some though and getting some good coil overs up front but haven't decided yet

Unless you are into serious off-roading, the Bilsteins will serve you well for a whole lot cheaper. You would probably break something else before they fail.

For one, they don't cost $500. Secondly, that's a dumb idea to save a couple hundred bucks.

can I put a 2" spacer ontop of the bilsteins to make an 8" lift in the front?
I have a 6" superlift with the 6" spacer.

It's not just the eyelet that's extended. The shaft looks a bit longer as well. It would be stupid to modify the shock. You'd be better off with keeping the spacer.
